#loglinechallenge

The #loglinechallenge is a challenge designed for screenwriters – but also for writers of other genres – to practice writing loglines and to come up with a collection of new ideas for future work.

The thing to remember here is that it’s all about coming up with new ideas and having a go at loglines; they needn’t be perfect. However, if you do want some tips on writing really good, industry-standard loglines, there are a few articles linked at the bottom of this page to get you started.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Use the prompt + your imagination to come up with an exciting story idea
  • Write a short logline to express this idea
  • Post it on your blog/Facebook/twitter – wherever you want to network!
  • We also have a FACEBOOK GROUP – all welcome! Share loglines and give feedback in a friendly atmosphere!
